ProCount App:
Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 16, 2026
Jack’s Inventory Consulting, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ProCount: Barcode to Excel mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal and business data when you use our App, as well as the terms of using our software.
1. Camera Access and Usage
The ProCount App requires access to your device's camera. This access is used strictly for the purpose of scanning barcodes.
The App does not take, save, or transmit photographs or video recordings.
The camera feed is processed in real-time solely to read barcode data and is not stored locally or remotely.
2. Data Collection and Local Storage
ProCount is designed to be a secure, offline-first utility.
All inventory data you scan, count, and timestamp is stored locally on your device during your active counting session.
We do not collect, harvest, or transmit your inventory data to external servers, cloud databases, or third-party analytics services.
If you delete the App, all locally stored inventory data will be permanently erased from your device.
3. Data Export and Email
To export your compiled inventory audits, the App generates an Excel or CSV file and utilizes your device’s native email application.
You have full control over the destination of these emails.
Jack's Inventory Consulting, LLC does not have access to your email accounts, address books, or the contents of the emails you send using the App.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
We respect your business privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any personal, corporate, or inventory data with third parties.
5. Terms of Service
By downloading and using the ProCount App, you agree to the following terms:
Intended Use: The App is provided as a utility for scanning and counting inventory. Jack's Inventory Consulting, LLC is not liable for data entry errors, lost data due to device failure, or discrepancies in inventory audits.
User Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your exported Excel and CSV files are successfully emailed and received before clearing your session data.
Intellectual Property: The ProCount name, logo, and app design are the intellectual property of Jack's Inventory Consulting, LLC.
